In 2019 I was part of farOpen in the Forest of Dean. I was invited to show, install work, and deliver workshops during a two week residency at The Garden Cafe in Lydbrook.
What a wonderful venue: An installation unfolded in the garden area, and in the Cafe I hung an exhibition of work I had been developing in response to the River Wye and Forest of Dean. The village fete complete with brass band were a highlight in the cafe gardens during the residency. Goodness knows what they made of my ‘navigational installation’ which acted as canopy and backdrop to the festivities.
