Victoria has over twenty years experience teaching, exhibiting, curation, commissions, residencies, and workshop delivery.
Workshops are tailored to meet the requirements of the school or college I am working with. Drawing, sculpture, and installation are my specialist areas but I can also offer printmaking, collage, and abstract work to this.
I am happy to design projects to be delivered by schools and colleges themselves. I can produce exemplar materials and project kits to meet set budgets.
My recent workshop with the International School in London (TASIS) encompassed a week long residency with workshops for children between ages 5 years to 18 years during the week.
The workshops encompassed artist’s talks and slide shows, site specific material collection, construction and documentation workshops, and show interpretation and Q & A sessions.
The workshops were designed to allow students a new opportunity to notice their beautiful school grounds, spend time collecting 'noticed' materials, and studio time constructing totems of their experiences. They were also afforded the opportunity to professionally record their work.
